Thankful for another great week of Choir Fest this year as we learned about the "ACTS of prayer." Looking forward to a special time of worship and celebration with all the kids tomorrow morning at 9:30am! #choirfest
Followers of Jesus are called to love their neighbors, not just in occasional, extraordinary acts of service, but in ordinary everyday routines as well - because we have a Savior who not only redeems us from our "big sins," but from our everyday failings and shortcomings too. This was our prayer of the day yesterday morning. May God make this true of us and of his whole church everywhere.
From Sunday morning's message: we will never fully care for our neighbors until we understand the extravagant nature of God's care for us in Christ. Listen here as we reflect on the story of the Good Samaritan: https://youtu.be/zqVaIl8M2LI
🎼 Only 11 Days Left Before Choir Fest! This is a week long opportunity for your children--from age four through eighth grade--to sing under the direction of professional musicians and educators. Everyone, regardless of musical experience, is invited to come sing, play, and learn. Each day consists of a lesson on a Bible theme, music rehearsals, fun outdoor activities, and crafts. Choir Fest runs from July 8 through July 12, and registration is going on now! We strongly encourage you to register by July 3 so that we can get a good idea of how many children are attending and plan accordingly. Find more information fairlawncrc.org/outreach/choirfest.cfm, or email the registrar at [email protected].

We sometimes find ourselves feeling “swamped” or “over our heads” – wondering how we are going to get out of a situation. The writer of Psalm 130 had such thoughts when considering his sinfulness. Like him, we can have hope because our God is loving and merciful, offering forgiveness and redemption through Jesus Christ. https://youtu.be/BAbg4MXaD1A
